Whaska is a fire giant who is the forgemaster of the Zenith Forge in the City of Brass. He is one of the three fire giants who are not enslaved in the City of Brass. As an NPC, he is played by Matthew Mercer.

Description[]

Appearance[]

Whaska stands around 16 to 20 feet high and has dark grey ash-like skin, piercing red eyes, and a full red beard singed on the edges. At work, Whaska wears a dark black leather apron[2] and removes it once the work is done.[3] At his first meeting with Vox Machina, he wore metal bracers[4] with a comparably small pouch (the size of Keyleth) affixed to the side of his belt. It contained multiple heavy metal objects, including a small cylinder that was able to detect magic.[5]
