Maryanne Darrington is the sister of Taryon Darrington and the heir to the Darrington family. As an NPC, Maryanne is played by Matthew Mercer.

Maryanne has blonde hair that she keeps tied in a tight braid that runs down her back. She wears a coat and pants when Taryon visits her after returning home, which is noted to be more formal attire than she usually wore while casually at home before Taryon's departure.[2]

Maryanne started taking over many responsibilities of the business for her father, and was going to take over the family business. She was far more like her father than her mother, in contrast to her brother, who was the opposite. She seemed to take after Howaardt in manner, temper, and even how she decorated, as her bedroom-office was described as nearly identical to her father's office.
Taryon Darrington[]
Taryon is Maryanne's older brother. She tried to convince him to marry a woman (despite knowing he exclusively desired men) to save their family finances, and once in a fit of anger or frustration tried to say that Taryon was the one who ruined their family name. Taryon said that, when they were younger, she used to hit him. Their relationship was both hostile and awkward, especially as they were on opposite sides of the spectrum in terms of how similar to their parents they were. Maryanne acted as if she thought she was better than Taryon, although she have some sort of care and fondness for him.
