The White Duke was a master bard, after whom the College of the White Duke was named.
Background
Before he died, the White Duke gifted one of the Vestiges of the Divergence (the Mythcarver) to his friend Kamaljiori, the androsphinx mate of Osysa.[1]

Kaylie attended the College of the White Duke before joining up with Dr. Dranzel's Spectacular Traveling Troupe in her pursuit of vengeance against Scanlan Shorthalt.[citation needed]
Trivia
The name "White Duke" is a reference to David Bowie's stage persona.[2][3]
